Doctor's Visit #2

Well Lynn went to the doctor's today. Everything looks good. We go back when she turns 2 months and that's when she will get all her shots. She now weighs 10 lbs. 14 ounces. She is 21.5 inches long. She is getting really big now. She has a hefty appetite. Tonight from 7 p.m.-12 a.m. she ate about 12 ounces. And everytime I feed her, it's as if she has never eaten before lol. But yup everything is good on our end (except for not enough sleep time for me). Love you all, and I will post again soon.

Fun after the bath

After her grandma gave her a bath yesterday she was having a lot of fun playing in her towel. Not a whole lot is new on our end. Jon takes his final for him Chemistry class today, so he will be done with school for the summer. Lynn is doing good. She is getting very big. She is doing better at sleeping. The only time I have a problem with her sleeping is when she has gas, and her tummy is upset. She has a doctor's appointment on Friday, I am looking forward to seeing how much she weighs and how long she is now. She looks like she has grown so much. I am doing well. Just hanging out with the baby a lot. I play on a volley ball league every Thursday now. Our team is not very good but we have a lot of fun playing so that's what counts. Well that's all for now. I was trying to get a picture of her outfit, but couldn't get a good one. But this picture turned out great.

Asleep finally

As you can see I don't even bother swaddling her feet when I swaddle her. She just kicks them out and it easier for her arms to get out. I usually just cover them up with another blanket so they don't get cold. And her outfit is a little big on her, so the arms poof out on the top.

We had a long day today. This was her first big adventure outside. Jon and our friends were playing volleyball, and since Jon's mom was out at Wal-Mart we just took her with us. Me and Lynn walked around while they played. She slept for a little bit in my arms, and I think she enjoyed having the air blow on her, since it was so hot in her stroller. Then we went out to dinner at Applebees where she slept very well up until I finished my food, then she was hungry. Perfect timing. We were out for a good 5 hours. Then we came home, and Jon's mom watched her while Jon slept before work, and I napped so I would be able to stay up all night, in case Lynn decided to stay up.

She was having some bad gas earlier. She would just cry, and it broke my heart, because there was nothing really I could do to help her. She woke up around 9 and spent a lot of time crying, and eating. I think she was starting to get tired, but was fighting it or just could not fall asleep. She finally just fell asleep. Usually she will fall asleep on me and then I will move her into her bed. During the transfer she usually wakes up a little bit and gets fussy, but I think she was so tired this time, because when I moved her she didn't wake up at all.

Well I am going to try and get some sleep while she is sleeping. Love you guys!!

Vibration Butt

You can't really read it but it says...I love my mommy..and my mommy loves me.

She loves her vibrating seat. She wouldn't stop crying for me, so I set her in the seat and she almost instantly stopped crying and just sat there. I tried turning off the vibration but she wanted no part of that. She has now been sitting in it just looking around and hanging out for almost an hour.

This is her favorite way to sleep. During the day she will sleep like this the whole time. But at night she likes to be swaddled.

What a bum

Well I had Lynn Marie all by myself last night. Jon had to work, and his parents are out camping for the weekend. I was a little nervous, because well I didn't have anyone here in case I felt I couldn't handle it or if anything happened.

She slept very well from 12-3, in her bassinet, and I slept on and off. She has a happened of waking herself up and making noise and then falling back to sleep, but when she makes noise I jump up to make sure everything is ok. Then she got up and was wide awake from about 3-7:30. She ate and looked around and we talked and did all that good stuff. She wound up throwing up on me twice last night. Not just a little spit up but a whole lot of it all over the place. I'm think it's because she eats to much, to fast. But she is so hungry that when I try to take a break and wait 10-20 minutes before giving her some more food she just screams. I burped her in between every 2 ounce bottles, but she still threw up. So i'm not really sure what is causing her to be sick. It didn't seem to bother her, because when she got sick, she didn't cry or anything. She just threw up and laid back down in my arms.

She has been sleeping all day long today, only waking up for me to feed and change her. Besides that she is out like a light. The picture I am posting today is from a few hours ago, she sleeps in her bassinet very funny. She doesn't like to be swaddled often, but then sometimes she won't sleep unless she is wrapped up. She normally kicks her legs out, but keeps her arms covered.

Well that's about all there is to post for now. I have her again by myself tonight, but I have been napping on and off with her all day, so I should do fine. I try to take pictures of her while she is awake, but she won't lay in her bassinet while she is awake for to long without crying. She likes to lay in my arms and look at me and I usually talk to her. I tell her all about her family.

To Sleep or Not to Sleep

Sleepy Head

This is what she has been doing almost all day long. Sleep, sleep and more sleep.

I am feeling a little bit better today. Last night I was so sick that I was throwing up and the medicine I was taking was not working. I kept trying to sleep throughout the day so I would be awake at night in case she wanted to keep me up, but I had no luck since I was coughing so much. About 10 o'clock is when I started to get really sick and making a trip to the bathroom. Jon's mom gave me some Nyquil and told me that her and John would take the baby for the night for me so I could get some rest. I probably wouldn't of done to well with the baby since I was coughing so hard and throwing up. Thank god for them ya know.

She is eating a lot more now. Sometimes up to 5 ounces in an hour. But then again sometimes she will only eat half an ounce. She has really bad gas, but it doesn't seem to bother her at all.

Starting at the end of June, Jon will be working from 9-5, 5 days a week!!! That's a major relief to me, since it will mean that he will be home at nights with me :)

Grandma Miz to the rescue

Mommy's not feeling well today, lot of coughing and sneezing going on. But Grandma Miz (she hasn't decided what she wants me to call her yet, she thinks she has time so in the meantime I'll use Grandma Miz) has been helping out. She took pictures so you guys could see how cute I'm getting. Grandpa Miz came and got me early this morning so Mommy could sleep. I like sleeping during the day, but not so much at night.
